September is finally here, and summer is just about wrapping up. This said, there are multiple learning opportunities happening all over the province, through artsnb, our partners and many other outlets. The following workshops and events are happening within the next two months and are opportunities you might not want to miss!

AAAPNB – Association acadienne des artistes professionnel.le.s du Nouveau-Brunswick

The AAAPNB is currently promoting two different types of learning opportunities. The first is a workshop on creating an artistic portfolio with Blanche Morin (Atelier Création d’un portfolio artistique avec Blanche Morin). These workshops will take place in three different locations and three separate dates. This workshop will allow artists to learn a very important aspect of the professional artists’ career. A portfolio is one of the first things that will showcase and represent the artist, it is therefore very vital. These one-day workshops will help artists learn the key aspects of the portfolio. Blanche Morin is a consultant, coach and trainer in career management and professional development.

The workshops will take place as follows :

  • MONCTON                      September 30th 2019
  • EDMUNDSTON                October 2nd 2019
  • CARAQUET                      October 4th 2019

The deadline to register for these workshops is Sunday September 15th 2019 and you must register online. For more information you can visit the AAAPNB Facebook Event Page.

The next program that the AAAPNB is offering is the Continuing Education Program – Professional Coaching Program / Mentorship (Programme de formation continue – Programme d’accompagnement professionnel / Mentorat). This is a mentorship program for new and emerging artists, which allow them to be paired with an established artist. The deadline to apply to this program is September 27th 2019. There is a link to submit your application as an artist seeking mentorship, as well as established artists who might be interested in being mentors.
