{"id":206,"date":"2019-07-29T23:20:02","date_gmt":"2019-07-29T23:20:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging-artsnb.weavercrawford.com\/?page_id=206"},"modified":"2025-04-24T17:28:36","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T17:28:36","slug":"eligibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/artsnb.ca\/web\/grants\/eligibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>CITIZENSHIP AND RESIDENCY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be eligible for artsnb funding, an applicant must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a Canadian citizen, have an affiliation with a First Nation on Turtle Island, be a permanent resident of Canada or have an application for permanent resident in process, and;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year (12 months) prior to the application deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:62px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PROFESSIONAL ARTIST CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants for all artsnb grant programs except&nbsp;Arts Scholarships must meet the definition of a professional artist given below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-c7d86fce-be02-465c-8421-3701268e36ed\" href=\"https:\/\/artsnb.ca\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Appendix-1_2025_Annexe-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">artsnb Definition of a Professional Artist<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:62px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COMPLETED PROJECTS AND FINAL REPORTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible applicants are those who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have completed any projects previously funded under the same program or program component to which they are applying;
