{"id":6596,"date":"2020-08-25T19:39:59","date_gmt":"2020-08-25T19:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artsnb.ca\/web\/?p=6596"},"modified":"2020-08-25T19:40:01","modified_gmt":"2020-08-25T19:40:01","slug":"updates-regarding-partial-reopening-and-relaxation-of-criteria-of-career-development-components","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artsnb.ca\/web\/2020\/08\/updates-regarding-partial-reopening-and-relaxation-of-criteria-of-career-development-components\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDATES REGARDING PARTIAL REOPENING AND RELAXATION OF CRITERIA OF CAREER DEVELOPMENT COMPONENTS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(Fredericton, August 25th, 2020)<\/em> &#8211; Given that the Government of New Brunswick announced on June 24<sup>th<\/sup> that \u201cinterprovincial travel without the requirement to self-isolate will be permitted in Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, for residents of Atlantic Canada as of July 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u201d, grant applications (projects) submitted to artsnb in all programs are allowed with the following caveats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Travel is allowed only within the Atlantic provinces (NB, NS, PE, NL), effective since July 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, and subject to change as per provincial guidelines;<\/li><li>Grant recipients must respect guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 restrictions issued by provincial authorities, both in their home region and province, and at their destination;<\/li><li>Recipients must contact the Program Officer if their event is suspended, postponed or cancelled.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Career Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Please note that in response to the current pandemic, the <strong>Arts by Invitation and Artist in Residence<\/strong>&nbsp;components of the Career Development are opened only partially. Proposed projects must respect the restrictions mentioned above.<\/li><li>Relaxation of the criteria for the other two components, <strong>Professional Development<\/strong> and <strong>Professionalization &amp; Promotion,<\/strong> are still in effect. This is to make allowance for the current working conditions imposed by the pandemic and to take advantage of online training opportunities.
