These adjustments have been made to provide assistance to a larger number of artists with the application process, and in carrying out their proposed activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, artsnb launched two new Accessibility and Equity programs: Application Assistance and Access Support. Due to the popularity of these new programs and to the growing demand, and in order to fund as many applications as possible within the current budget, artsnb has reduced the maximum grant amounts to these programs to support a larger number of applicants. Effective immediately, the maximum amount for the Application Assistance Program will be $200 per application, and the maximum amount for the Access Support Program will be $500 per application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to better serve the disabled arts community and Indigenous artists facing language, geographic and\/or cultural barriers, artsnb will continue to work with its government partners to increase the budget envelope for these programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>More about the Accessibility and Equity Programs at artsnb<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Access Support program is designed to provide supplemental funding to grant recipients who require disability-related assistance to carry out their proposed activities. The Application Assistance program, on the other hand, provides funding to individuals who encounter disability-related barriers to completing an online grant application, and to Indigenous artists facing language, geographic and\/or cultural barriers with the online application process.
