Upcoming workshops for Aboriginal Artists!
Natalie Sappier
This past year we traveled to Tobique First Nation for a workshop on documenting art with Mark Hemmings; we also had a chance to visit Metepenagiag and St Mary’s with AAAPNB and Artslink where we gathered in a circle to share and discuss their path, their struggles, and goals in this career in the arts. These gatherings helped us identify some of the guidance the artists are seeking on their career path which led to the development for our upcoming workshops on networking, basic business skills and marketing with the help and support of some wonderful partnerships; JEDI, Ignite, MWC (Mi’kmaq-Wolastoqey Centre), St Mary’s First Nation and Metepenagiag Heritage Park. Thank you to our partners for your continuing support in the arts. Artists, we are looking forward to you seeing you in the fall and hearing about your wonderful summer! Eventbrite Registration will soon be shared through email and social media; please contact me for any further questions.
