Make your voice heard

The Canada Council for the Arts is seeking input from artists, collectives and arts organizations to help map the future of the arts in Canada, and wants to hear from you. The Canada Council is using an online survey – Arts in a Digital World – to learn how the sector is making use of digital tools in the creation and production of art, its dissemination, audience engagement and the management of arts organizations.

The Canada Council is looking to have a better understanding of how artists, collectives and arts organizations are currently using digital technologies, where there are strengths and challenges, needs and opportunities. This will allow the Canada Council to make informed choices on how to support the arts moving forward and invest in its digital strategy, starting in April 2017.

Your voice is an important part of this process. Results and learnings from the survey will be on the agenda for a major digital summit in 2017, and will influence how funding is allocated.

The survey takes approximately 25 minutes and is live now: http://fluidsurveys.com/s/ArtsinaDigitalWorld/langeng/

Participants in the survey could win one of three prizes to attend an arts event in their community. The survey closes on Friday, June 24. The results of the survey will be shared in the autumn of 2016.

artsnb encourages all New Brunswick artists and arts organizations to take this survey to ensure that the Maritime provinces are well represented.
