Anna Rail, Executive Director of CARFAC Maritimes, will be introducing CARFAC in its fundamental role of economic and legal defender of professional visual artists in Canada. She will then briefly demystify copyright for visual artists. Last but extremely important, she will discuss Best Practices for visual artists such as the importance of contracts, suggested reactions to artwork donation solicitations, commissions, etc.
