The New Brunswick Arts Board is an arm’s length arts funding agency with a legislated mandate to facilitate and promote the creation of art as well as administering funding programs for professional artists in the province.
Fredericton, November 3, 2023 – The New Brunswick Arts Board (artsnb) is now accepting applications to its arts funding programs from immigrants who have an application in process for permanent resident status.
In harmony with its 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, the board of directors of artsnb has voted in favour of increasing access to its funding programs to immigrants who are professional artists and have a Canadian permanent residency application in process. Prior to this change, only Canadian citizens and permanent residents were eligible to apply to artsnb funding programs.
