Diane Losier

For forty years, Diane Losier has been a formidable presence and one of the most important performing artists in Acadie, Canada, and especially in New Brunswick.  

 Diane has worked with almost every francophone theatre company in New Brunswick during her impressive career and has displayed her multiple talents in an extensive range of roles in musical theatre, TV, and film. 

The quantity, diversity, and quality of the roles she has performed over the years demonstrates the confidence directors place in her great talent as an actor. On stage, she has played memorable roles in plays such as Valentine, Laurie ou la vie de galerie, Crow bar and Wolfe, not to mention the character of Marie-Pet at the Pays de la Sagouine.

She has also been part of the cast of the musical theatre productions Belles-soeurs, Louis Mailloux, Tracady Story, and the rock opera Viens avec moi with Hôtesses d’Hilaire. On screen, she has been in the television shows Bedaine, Belle Baie, Les Newbies, Samuel et la mer and Garde partagée and in the films Le trou du cul du monde, Camion, Pour mieux t’aimer and Exil. 

 As a renowned Acadian artist, she carries the torch for her language and culture, lighting the way for artists of the next generations. She lives and works in Caraquet, NB.
