JUROR APPLICATION
The principle of peer evaluation is the foundation of artsnb’s jury system. As such, all applications to artsnb funding programs are assessed by professional artists.
Peer jurors are any professional artists who demonstrate acknowledged ability, reputation, credibility in their community at large, and ability to relate positively with artists in other disciplines. A record of mentorship, teaching, and/or experience on previous peer arts juries is an asset.
BECOMING AN ARTSNB ASSESSOR (PEER JURY)
Artists are automatically added to the master list of jurors once they have received a Category A or Category B grant from artsnb’s Creation Program.
Professional artists and/or arts professionals may also apply at any time to become a juror. To be added to artsnb’s roster of potential jurors, please complete the form below and attach an artist CV. Applicants should meet both artsnb’s Professional Artist criteria AND the Mid-Career or Senior Artist criteria for their discipline.
Applications will be reviewed by artsnb staff prior to approval. Once you are added to the roster, artsnb staff will contact you when we require peer jurors fitting your profile.
