The New Brunswick Arts Board is an arm’s length arts funding agency with a legislated mandate to facilitate and promote the creation of art as well as administering funding programs for professional artists in the province.
The Toronto-based F4A collective facilitates the Site + Cycle project, a residency that combines analogue filmmaking instruction with teachings about site specificity at Artscape Gibraltar Point on the Toronto Islands and at Anima Casa Rural in Mexico. Participants have produced films that explore the regions’ histories, topographies, and vegetation, and shared knowledge of organic plant- based film processes.

Arianna Martinez is a filmmaker and educator living in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is a co-founding member of Strike Pictures, and with them has produced several short films that have screened internationally and have been licensed to CBC for broadcasting.
I had the impression something special had occurred when the last 6 Elle lines of of poetry were spoken in a lush silence from the loft of Église historique de Barachois, as the last notes of the ensemble delicately reverberated in the mind. Thus ended Conversations2019.
Living in Moncton, New-Brunswick, Julie Forgues obtained her BFA at Universitéde Moncton in 1995 and her MFA Studio –photography at Concordia University in 1999. She has been a faculty member of the Department des arts visuels of Université de Moncton since 2000 as a photography professor and is the Head of department since July 2016.
Greg Everett is a Fredericton based playwright and performer. His plays CARRION BIRDS (2018) and GULLYWHUMP (2019) were winners in the one-act category of the NB Acts festival. Entwined in the supernatural, his works underpin a world of ghosts and monsters with a surreal framework of history and lived experience.

Abby Paige is a poet, playwright, and theater maker whose work often traverses borders between countries, languages, peoples, and generations. Her writing has appeared in both countries, in publications including the Arc Poetry Magazine, Room Magazine, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and The Montreal Review of Books, as well as the recent anthology, Heliotrope: French-Heritage Women Create.
Xavier Lord-Giroux is originally from Dieppe. With a degree in drama (Moncton 2013) he is currently applying for a master’s degree in literary studies at the University of Moncton. From 2016 to 2017, he was acting president of the Société Nationale de l’Acadie (SNA). He has a professional practice in theatre and has become known by the public for writing and directing his work Foreplay/ Les préliminaires in 2018.
